Coolnomics is run by me, Robyn Wilson, from Sydney. This page explains what I collect when you use this site, why I collect it and what you can ask me to do with it.

What I Collect

  • When you score an idea: your Yes or No answers, any notes you write and, if you choose to give them, your name, email and Instagram handle. I also record whether you're happy to be quoted and whether you want the next Score.
  • When you use the Coolnometer or other tools on the site: your answers.
  • When you join a waitlist or the mailing list: your name and email.
  • When you book a call or a session: the details you enter in the booking form.
  • When you pay: payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.
  • Basic technical details, such as your browser type and the page that sent you here. This keeps the site working and stops spam.

Why I Collect It

  • To run the Coolnomics research. Reader scores and notes show how different people read the same idea, and that feeds the theory.
  • To send you what you asked for, like the next Score or program updates.
  • To run bookings, payments and the programs you join.

I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone to market to you.

Quoting Your Notes

I'll only quote your notes if you tick the box that says I can, and only with your first name. You can change your mind at any time.

Where It's Kept

Your information is stored with the services that run this site: Supabase (database), Kit (email), Cal.com (bookings), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (hosting). Some of these store data outside Australia. Each has its own security and privacy standards.

Your Browser

When you score an idea, your answers are saved in your own browser so they're there when you come back. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you press submit.

This site also uses the Meta Pixel, which measures which pages are visited and how people arrive at them.

Your Choices

  • Every email I send has an unsubscribe link.
  • You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email hello@coolnomics.com and I'll sort it within 30 days.
