It should feel like a party where you learn something.
Street smarts and institutional education count equally here. Instinct is intelligence. So is the MBA. In this room you sharpen both, by building something real alongside people doing the same.
Founders and Strategists
You're a Founder with a Vision
You're either already running a company or you dream of starting one.
You're profitable but you're not sure where to invest to grow the business, who to hire or which product line could double your revenue. Or you want to launch a new business but you're not sure where to start. You're overwhelmed and alone on the journey.
You've made some brand moves or you're figuring out the finances. But it feels like you're spinning your tyres trying to get it all to line up and unlock the growth you want.
That's exactly why you need a Coolnomics Commercial Strategy.
You're a Strategist Who Wants the Practice
You're a strategist, consultant or creative already working with clients. Or you want to be.
You've got the instinct. What you want is a process you can stand behind in a room: one that scores the idea, builds the commercial model and lands a strategy a client will pay for.
In the Fellows Program you learn the Coolnomics Commercial Strategy by running it on a real business, your own or a client's. You leave with a finished strategy to show for it and a practice you can run for every client after.
That's a strategy practice you can charge for.
Coolnomics Commercial Strategy
This is the exact MBA-level business strategy process I run with major brands through to small family businesses with life savings on the line. These strategies have landed six figure launches and coverage across Vogue and the Australian Financial Review and impacted 33 million visitors to luxury shopping precincts.
It starts with the core idea, then maps what you'll do across product, brand, tech, operations, people and finances to make it work. Do it once and do it right, so your business efforts are streamlined and aimed at a clear goal. And do it alongside others navigating exactly the same challenges and ambitions.
- 01The IdeaThe core idea and the commercial goal it serves.
- 02The ScoreTested and strengthened against the five Coolnomics principles.
- 03The StrategyThe pathway that will connect the core idea with the commercial outcome – without losing the cool.
No Strategy Goes in a Drawer
You're not waiting eight weeks for a document you don't know what to do with. You start making changes in week one, to your own business or the client work you bring in. The kind that drive revenue and increase relevance.
By the end of the eight weeks you've got a strategy for the next five years. And the business is already in a different place to where it was when you started.

Concrete Playground · EditorialFounders and Strategists, Active and Aspiring
The Fellows Program is a mixed room by design. You might be sitting alongside a CEO working on a new venture inside an existing company, a Gen Z founder already selling in market and ready to scale, a strategist learning to run it for their own clients and an artist figuring out how to turn their practice into a product.
Everyone is applying the Coolnomics Strategy Practice to a real business, their own or a client's, and feeding back on each other's ideas. That's what makes the sessions so rich: the quality of the room is part of the curriculum.
Cohort 1 is a Pacific cohort, open to Fellows across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Americas. One room, one time, on Zoom.
Where Is Your Idea At
The Idea Arc runs from raw concept to industry authority. Everyone in the Fellows Program is somewhere on it. You come in at your stage and build your strategy from there.
- 01 Idea You have a concept. You're still asking whether it's good – and whether it can make money.
- 02 Product You know what you're building. You're figuring out what to charge, how to structure it and how to sell it.
- 03 Market You're in market. You're trying to understand why it's resonating – or why it isn't.
- 04 Scale You have traction. The question now is how to scale it as an optimised operation.
- 05 Legacy Your business works. The question now is how it becomes an industry authority.
The Fellows Program works at every stage. You come in as you are.
Working With Global Brands Through to Small Businesses and Artists

MBA (UTS) · Design & Psychology · Commercial Strategist · Creative Director · Founder
I hold an MBA from UTS alongside studies in design and psychology, because the cool and the money were never separate moves. That combination is the thesis behind Coolnomics.
I've spent twenty-five years taking ideas to market. Not writing about it. Doing it, for global corporations, for founders with their families' money on the line and for myself.
Across five years running Superora, my management consulting firm, I worked with 25 clients and identified $50 million in new commercial value. I've launched real products into real markets, with media coverage in Vogue, the AFR and the Sydney Morning Herald, real sales and real consequences if the strategy was wrong.
The strategy I teach is the strategy I use. It has never sat in a document. It has always had to work.
I teach strategy to the undergraduate program at the University of Technology Sydney and I am passionate about connecting the intellectual and creative with the practical and commercial.
The cool and the nomics in the same room. Learned at the same time. That's what this program is.
Before You Apply
How do I get in?
Book a 30-minute call with me. We talk about what you're building and whether the Fellows Program is the right room for it. If it is, I'll send you your place.
When does it start?
Starts February 2027. Eight weeks of sessions, with a break week before Presentation Day so you can prepare.
Live calls run Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Where are the live calls held?
On Zoom, so you can join from wherever you're based.
What time are the calls?
12pm AEDT (Sydney and Melbourne). That's 2pm Auckland, 9am Singapore and 10am Tokyo. In the US it's 5pm Los Angeles and 8pm New York the day before. Times may shift by an hour when daylight saving changes in your region.
I'm not in Australia. Can I join?
Yes. Cohort 1 is a Pacific cohort: calls run on Zoom at 12pm Sydney time, which works across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Americas. Every call is recorded. If you're in Europe, this time won't suit and a later cohort will.
Can I ask questions or get feedback between sessions?
Yes. The Fellows Circle is open between calls. Drop a question or share your work and get the cohort's eyes on it before Thursday.
How much does it cost?
A$2,950, or 4 payments of A$750.
Are my ideas kept confidential?
Yes. What's shared in the calls and in the Circle stays in the cohort. Every fellow agrees to keep each other's work confidential when they join. Your ideas stay yours.
What if I've only got an idea and don't know how to turn it into a business?
That's perfect. You'll start at the Idea stage of the Idea Arc. Over eight weeks you'll write the strategy that turns it into a product and a business.
I'm a strategist, not a founder. Is this for me?
Yes. Bring your own business or a client project you have the go-ahead to share. You learn the Coolnomics Commercial Strategy by running it on something real and you leave with a practice you can run for your clients.
What if I miss a session?
Every call is recorded, so you can catch up before the next one.
What do I finish with?
A complete Coolnomics Commercial Strategy. The product and its profitability, the brand and its relevance, the technology and operating systems that unlock your growth.
Do I have to wait until the end to use it?
No. You start making changes to your business in week one. By Week 08 your business is already in a different place to where it was when you started.
What happens after the eight weeks?
You can continue in a monthly cohort to keep the momentum and coaching going.
